OPEN HANDS, OPEN HEART
A Series for Lent
February - March 2026
Lent is a period to make special time to be in God’s presence and to listen to him, allowing our lives to be reshaped by his presence and his word to us. Different practices can help us do this: fasting creates space for God, Bible meditation and prayer soaks us in his presence, generous service allows us to give out what we have received. As a church let’s commit to making space for God: both stepping into God’s presence (open heart) and stepping out in generous action (open hands).
