Heavenly father thankyou for giving us The Bible.  

Thank you for the way it can show us how to

‘See You more clearly, love You more dearly and follow You more nearly’ day by day.  

Thank you for the teachers in our church who study the scriptures 

and help us all to see how it is relevant and living for us today.

When I struggle to turn to Your word help me to find passages there that are 

just right for whatever situation or moment I am in.  

Your word is a lamp to me feet and a light to my way.  

Give me joy in reading it and comfort and wisdom as I study it.
