FAITH WORKS

June - July 2026

The book of James was written by the younger brother of Jesus. According to the New Testament, James became a believer following the resurrection when Jesus appeared to him alive again. He then went on to become one of the main leaders of the church in Jerusalem. The heart of the letter is the connection between faith and action. These cannot be separated. To believe is to be transformed in our character and behaviour so we reflect the presence and power of Jesus in the world. This practical and challenging message is as relevant today as it was when written. So let’s get ready to listen and put into practice what we hear!
