Women at St Barnabas

'May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.'

We aim to be women of God who live our lives in intimate relationship with Jesus and pursue holiness through repentance. We want to trust God in every circumstance we face as we are led by him and are obedient to him. We seek to encourage one another to become the women God originally created and intended us to be, and to sharpen each other in our faith through prayer, testimony and fellowship. We want to build one another up and call out the gifting and beauty he has placed in each one of us. We choose to rest in him and live joy filled lives as we open ourselves up to the work of the Holy Spirit

The women of St Barnabas regularly meet together in cluster groups, accountability groups and prayer triplets and partnerships, to encourage one another and engage with life issues as they occur. Whatever your age, stage and family situation, finding others who can spur you on in your faith, understand your context and laugh and cry with you is such a gift. It’s about sharing life together and encouraging one another to keep Jesus at the centre of everything we are and have.

Transforming Women organises events specifically for women, including a women’s conference, weekends away and curry evenings.
