Children at risk

‘Over one billion children are suffering from one or more forms of extreme deprivation.’ UNIECF, 2005 246 million children are child labourers 250,000 children are infected with HIV/AIDS every month. 30,000 children die each day from preventable diseases. Source: www.viva.org It is our vision at St Barnabas to help and give aid to some of these children. Ministry to children in need, both locally and globally, should be our priority. They are too often overlooked in strategic mission. We seek to do this through: Awareness - understanding the depth of need Partnership - working with existing partners who help street children. Giving - directing resources to children at risk. Prayer Going - we would love to send short-term multidisciplinary teams to with alongside our existing partners who work with children.
