Earls Court Community Project
The work of the ECCP aims to demonstrate the love, care and compassion of God to people. We want them to come to Christ and live comfortably with themselves, others and God. As we build relationships we have the opportunity to share God's heart and the gospel message. Ultimately, we hope that through this, we will bring them into personal relationship with Jesus.
To achieve this goal, we work through three main modes of action:
Counselling ECCP has a group of Christian counsellors working in 2 counselling centres (one for general counselling and one for family therapy), providing approximately 1,300 hours of counselling a year.
Outreach There’s lots going on within the community including: coffee bar, women's drop-in, creative writing group, art section, clothing and furniture store, Bible studies, outings, family support, home visiting, practical advice, office resources, job hunting, computer training, intercession, Christmas and Easter outreaches.
Training ECCP runs a 9-month course in Christian Counselling accredited by the Association of Christian Counsellors and YWAM University of the Nations.
