Get inspired
What is God calling you to do with what you have?
Maybe God wants you to go on a short-term mission this summer?
Could you make new choices in your shopping that could make trade fairer?
Is God calling you to change job or volunteer with a mission organisation?
Maybe your cluster could have a focus for a term on issues of world mission?
Get involved
Prayer
Commit to pray for a mission partner or partner organisation, or encourage your cluster to ‘adopt’ and pray for them.
Giving
If you give regularly to St Barnabas you contribute to the work of our mission partners. The missions team makes recommendations on major giving commitments for inclusion in the church budget, as well as making smaller gifts from a discretionary budget.
Campaigning
If you feel passionately about God’s heart for the nations, then make the decision to become actively involved in some way. The best way to do this would be to join the Justice Network.
Going short or long-term
Many charities and Christian organisations now run short or long-term mission projects around the world, involving people in evangelism, development and church planting. If you are considering this type of service, tell us about it – we may be able to offer you some support.
